4. Describe the methods used to treat anxiety disorders.

First off, it's important to understand that there is no actual diagnostic test for panic disorder, but they do undergo a medical examination so that each individual can be assessed since everyone is at different extents.

There are a lot of methods such as the CPB :)

COGNITIVE -- changing negative thoughts. "I will die if I don't get help"
PSYCHOLOGICAL -- taught breathing techniques to decrease their anxiety, repeated physical symptoms are also a help
BEHAVIORAL -- need to exposed to the situations in which they fear

Or...

Psycho dynamic psychotherapy: explores the thoughts of the person's subconscious
Group Therapy: ex) support groups.. it might be helpful since they are expressing their thoughts to other people with the same problems, and hear other people.
